Vocational Goat Farming Training Programme, February 2024

The eighth (8th) five-day – “Vocational Goat Farming Training Program” was successfully organized by our organization – “Bundelkhand Natural’s” from 14/02/2024 to 18/02/2024. During the training program, various subject experts of our team provided knowledge of latest scientific techniques of goat rearing to all the trainees through their lectures and the goat rearing trainees acquired experimental knowledge through various lectures and in the scientific goat rearing unit operated in the institute. Through Sikho, proficiency in goat rearing business was achieved.

In order to enhance the skills and capabilities of all the trainees for commercial goat rearing, they were trained on the following points – Selection of improved goat breed, goat breed improvement. Various methods of goat rearing and modern goat housing construction and its management. Goat Rearing and Management. Goat conception and gestation management. Management of newborn goat lambs. To reduce the mortality rate of kids and adults of goats. Balanced feeding management in goats. Goat health management and vaccination, marketing of goats, preparation of goat milk and its processed products, preparation of various natural fertilizers made from goat manure, various schemes being run by the Central and State Governments for arranging funds for goat rearing. Information on government schemes etc. was given. New technical information developed by our organization’s associate institute, Central Goat Research Institute (ICAR – CIRG), Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) was also shared.

On the last day of the program, the chief guest was Veterinary Officer, Respected Dr. Shri Ram Kushwaha ji, Respected Shri Mahesh Kumar Prajapati ji, District President Cow Protection Committee, Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh, District Banda, Respected Shri Raghavendra Dwivedi, District Vice President Cow Protection Committee, District Banda, Respected Shri Pawan Dwivedi. Ji Pailani Tehsil President Cow Protection Committee, Respected Shri Brij Kishore Dwivedi Nagar General Secretary Cow Protection Committee Nagar Banda were present. Cattle farmers from Banda, Hamirpur and Fatehpur districts* participated in the training.
