Our organization “Bundelkhand Naturals District – Banda, Bundelkhand (U.P.)” is constantly striving to make women self-reliant and independent. In the same sequence, with the financial support of Child Fund India, New Delhi, in order to provide livelihood to the female animal breeders of Jan Shikshan Women Farmer Producer Company Limited, formed in Sultanpur (U.P.), free distribution of Barbari breed of goat kids was done to the female animal breeders of FPC for goat rearing with the objective of making them self-reliant by providing them livelihood.

In the program, the team of our organization Bundelkhand Naturals shared information about the main points of commercial goat rearing with the women livestock farmers of FPO. Along with this, various contemporary discussions were also held with the women on the subject of goat based natural integrated farming.

Looking at the immense possibilities of goat rearing in the state, I not only hope but am fully confident that goat rearing will prove to be very beneficial for all the farmer brothers and sisters. Goats will not only provide high quality nutrition to their family – goat milk and natural goat dung manure for the farm land, but will also help in providing a steady and regular increase in income.

Small and marginal farmer brothers and sisters and unemployed brothers are requested to include goat rearing along with farming.
