Field survey of Bundelkhandi Goat https://bundelkhandnaturals.in/2024/12/01/field-survey-of-bundelkhandi-goat/ https://bundelkhandnaturals.in/2024/12/01/field-survey-of-bundelkhandi-goat/#respond Sun, 01 Dec 2024 02:29:43 +0000 https://bundelkhandnaturals.in/?p=2019 Since ancient times, humans had started goat rearing along with farming. Due to the ease of goat rearing, it has been associated with landless, small, marginal and agricultural labourers, that is why our Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi had called it the “poor man’s cow”. The geographical conditions, climate and environment of Bundelkhand are very favorable and best for goats. Due to which the maintenance and rearing of goats is being done very easily in our area. Goat milk is medicinal. Due to which the goat farmer gets both nutrition and regular income for his family.

Our organization Bundelkhand Naturals is going door to door to the cattle farmers and selling the indigenous goat breed of our Bundelkhand region – Ground survey of “Bundelkhandi goat” is being conducted. This native goat breed is very productive in which the percentage of giving twins is high, daily milk production is also on average 1 kg, its immunity is also high compared to other goat breeds, even after eating rough dry fodder in the adverse conditions of Bundelkhand region. Provides very good weight gain. Looking at the immense possibilities of goat rearing in Bundelkhand region, I not only hope but have full confidence that this goat breed will prove to be very beneficial for all the farmer brothers and sisters. The goats will not only provide high quality nutrition to their families – goat milk and natural Goat Landy Manure for the farm land but will also prove helpful in providing a fixed and regular increase in income.

Marginal farmer brothers, sisters and unemployed brothers are requested to include farming and buffalo/cow as well as goat rearing. (For more information you can contact on the given number from 7:00 to 09:00 pm.)
